First, i covered an emty frame with a sheet I described how rembrant waa a very famous artist and his paintings were worth a lot so some have been stolen. Then I unveiled the empty frame and acted shocked at the missing painting. I told them to look at the board where there were questions in a numbered order about the atist; such as where was he born, How many paintings did he paint. Then they looked for corresponding images to answer the clue questions. The mages to go along with the answer information. Such as Windmill for birth, money for his wealth then poverty, camera for self portraits. Then I posted the pictures around the room for the kids to spot. I put a letter clue on each image corner so when they matched the answers the letter clues spelled out closet where the painting was hidden. It was fun.
